Goals and OKRs for the whole team

Set, track and measure objectives without another spreadsheet.

The RHTECH Goals module tracks goals and OKRs in real time, by person, team, unit and company, without mixing the two methods.

Create objectives, key results and metrics by company, department and person. Track progress in real time and connect results with Performance Review, so delivery turns into recognition.

Modular platform: start with this module alone or combine it with others.

Goals and OKRs fail for different reasons

Goals usually fail because they go stale. They are set at the start of the year in a spreadsheet, nobody tracks them along the way, and the actual number is only measured when it is time to review. By then it is too late to change course, which was the whole point of the goal, and it ends up only justifying a score someone had already decided to give.

OKRs fail for another reason: being confused with goals. Many companies adopt the name and keep the old practice: they set ten objectives, turn every task into a key result and tie everything to the bonus. The effect is well known: the team starts proposing easy objectives, because ambition becomes a personal risk. OKRs assume ambitious targets and frequent review; goals assume a realistic commitment and accountability. Mixing the two ruins both.

In RHTECH's goals and OKR software, the two models live side by side without being confused. Individual, team, unit and company goals have their own cycle, approval and progress, and OKRs have their own objective, key results and progress updates. Tracking is continuous and visible both to those doing the work and to those leading it, instead of existing only when the period closes.

The platform does not define what a good goal is, which is the hard part and depends entirely on your business. What it prevents is the predictable part of failure: the goal nobody revisits, the progress that only exists in one person's head and the result measured too late to change anything.

    FAQ

    Questions about Goals

What is the difference between goals and OKRs in the platform?

Goals are delivery commitments with a target value, assigned to a person, team, unit or company. OKRs are qualitative objectives with measurable key results that show whether the objective moved forward. Both live in the same module: you do not need to choose a single method for the whole organization.

    How is progress updated?

Each key result has a unit, a baseline and a clear target, and progress is recorded throughout the cycle by its owner. The dashboard rolls up progress by objective, department and company, so the check-in meeting starts with the number on screen instead of with collecting status.

Do goal results affect the performance review?

They can, if you want. The result of the OKR cycle feeds into Performance Review, closing the loop from goal to delivery to feedback. That way the performance conversation considers what was agreed at the start of the period, not only the manager's perception at the end.
