The RHTECH Gamification module is a points, badges and leaderboard system for employees that rewards actions already tracked in the other modules.
Turn the team's day-to-day into visible achievements. Points for activity, badges for goals, leaderboards for engagement. All built into the modules you already use, with no separate tool.
Modular platform: start with this module alone or combine it with others.
Gamification has a bad reputation that is partly deserved. When it comes in as a separate layer, with points that lead nowhere and a leaderboard nobody asked for, the effect lasts a few weeks and leaves one more abandoned dashboard. The points mechanism is rarely to blame. What is usually missing is connection: the rewarded actions are not the ones the company tracks the rest of the year, so scoring points stops meaning anything.
The more useful approach is to treat the module as reinforcement for something that already exists, not as a separate product. If the company already requires mandatory training, already sends engagement surveys and already tracks IDP progress, those are the actions worth points, because they already have consequences. Employees see progress in something the company actually looks at, and HR gets a real-time adoption indicator instead of finding out about low participation only in the end-of-cycle report.
At RHTECH, gamification is connected to the modules you subscribe to, so there is no parallel registration and no second tool for the team to learn. Scoring rules are configurable, which means the game reinforces your company's priority for that half of the year and can change when the priority changes. Badges mark achievements that make sense in your context, like finishing mandatory training before it expires or keeping the IDP up to date for two cycles in a row.
The part that needs care is the individual leaderboard. In sales teams it usually works well; in technical areas, and in operations with interdependent teams, it often produces the opposite of what was intended, because it rewards whoever stands out and not whoever supports everyone else's work. The practical recommendation is to rank by team, reward consistent participation and keep performance ratings out of the game. The platform allows both approaches, and the choice stays with the company.
Built to solve the real problem, not just to "have the module".
Employees earn points when they use Training, Reviews, Surveys and the other modules you subscribe to. It is not standalone gamification.
Badges for goals met, cycles completed and desired behaviors. Automatic recognition, with no manual work for HR.
Views by team, department and company. Leaders follow engagement in real time, with no manipulation and no spreadsheet.
It works inside the platform, with the modules your company already uses. No separate tool and no complex setup.
Part of the platform
This module shares people, permissions and audit trail with the others, with no duplicate records and no retraining.
It is part of the subscription scope, like the other modules. It works connected to the modules the company already uses, so it makes sense to turn it on alongside them, not on its own.
The actions you want to encourage on the platform: completing training, answering pulses, taking part in the review cycle, moving IDP actions forward, engaging with internal communication. Rules are configurable, so the game reinforces your company's priorities, not a generic list.
Each configured action is worth points, and the leaderboard ranks who scored the most. It can be individual or by team, and badges mark specific achievements, like finishing mandatory training before it expires. Because the scored actions are the same ones the company already tracks in the other modules, points are calculated automatically, without a tracking spreadsheet.
It is a real risk, which is why the leaderboard is configurable. Many companies prefer to rank by team instead of by individual, or to give weight to group achievements. The practical recommendation is to reward consistent participation, not performance ratings.
They all share the same people records, permissions and audit trail. Turn them on in the order that makes sense for your company.
